Hey everyone. Sorry about not updating about the contest sooner; but with three tests looming over my head, being Rick Rolled twice, and that whole Mud-cap or whatever fisaco, I was a bit busy. Anyways, to make it up to you, here is the new contest with a deadline of May 31st. All standard rules listed below apply. And of course, to submit contest material or ANY material into the club gallery, all you have to do is use the email listed on 's info; that simple. I prefer email to DA because DA can't attach files and I prefer to have the original file when uploading. And of course, I'm HOPING that we get more than just two entries this time. The last contest was a total and utter sham and that really IS a word that I don't use very often.....sham.....shammity sham sham!

Speaking of sham, that's the theme of the next contest! That's right, Marik's Evil Council of Doom! Draw something related to either the first OR second episodes of this new little side series. Also, drawings that look like [link] or [link] are more likely to win. Basically, using color, using more than one character, making your entry a comic, and trying to suggest an actual location with even a simple background will equal greater chance of teh win. You like teh win, don't you?

Okay, so try not to procrastinate if you can help it. Meanwhile, I have to do homework...and not the fun kind.....wait a minute, there IS no fun kind!

Q: What the hell is this? Another crappy Yu-Gi-Oh fan club?

A: Absolutely not. This is better. This is a fan club for Yu-Gi-Oh: The ABRIDGED Series, a parody and satire made by Martin Billany, better known to the internet as LittleKuriboh.

Q: Why make this club in the first place?

A: Quite a few artists on DA have taken a liking to LittleKuriboh’s work and made their own fan art of the series. But so far, no one has even bothered to make a fan art to gather up all the pieces. That’s where I come in.

Q: You’re another Yu-Gi-Oh nerd, aren’t you?

A: No, actually, I pretty much (EFF)ing hate all of the official Yu-Gi-Oh source material, which is why I love the abridged series so much; like I said, it pretty much makes fun of everything wrong with Yu-Gi-Oh and then some.

Q: Why make a fan art club for the Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged Series? Why not a club for all of the abridged anime?

A: Several reasons, which I will bore you with right now. First off, YGO:TAS started it all. Without LittleKuriboh, other abridged good anime like Naruto, Berserk, Yu Yu Hakusho, Sailor Moon, and Avatar probably would have never gotten started. It should also be known that aside from Naruto (and only because it’s so [EFF!]ing popular) there hasn’t been much abridged fan art besides Yu-Gi-Oh. After abridged anime become even more popular than it already is and more series get highlighted in fan art on this site, I’ll probably make another club for abridged anime in general…because that would be super special awesome.

Q: Abridged Nartuo is more poplar! LOL!!!111!! Maek a cub!11!

A: That’s….not a question….what are you, some kind of (EFF!)ing moron? But I digress, I wanted to first make a fan art club for YGO:TAS first. Besides, if you really want a club for Abridged Naruto, why don’t YOU make it?

Q: A DA art club for YGO:TAS? That’s Super Special Awesome! How do I join?

A: Just send a private message to me to this club account and I’ll consider making you a member, which will give you the benefit of having your icon displayed on the front page; of course, if too many dualists apply, I may have to turn those icons into deviant art links in order to save on loading times. There are some easy to follow rules, so look at that section for more information.

Q: How do I submit artwork?

A: Click on my personal account on and look at my email address and send your piece in an email attachment. If I’m unable to receive it though my standard AOL email address, private message me through my personal account (NOT the club account) and I’ll give you my Gmail account address. There are some rules for submitting artwork to the club gallery, so please pay attention to those first before submitting work.

Q: Will you be giving credit to people who submit artwork to the club gallery?

A: Of course! Stealing artwork is not Super Special Awesome. I mean, Seto Kiba might approve but he’s an asshole…he said it himself, you know. By obeying the rules listed for submitting your work, all gallery artwork will have a link to the original author and a message to fave/comment on that copy first.

Q: Are you LittleKuriboh?

A: Oh, I WISH. But no, I’m not. But I’m toying with the idea of making another abridged series myself in a future date…maybe. But no, I’m not, I’m just one of his many, many fans.

Q: Are you British?

A: Nope, I’m just making this club….in America! (That…that means I’m an American).

That should cover all the bases, but in case any of you scoobies can think of any more questions, just give me a personal message to this club and I’ll add them in.

And now for something completely different; the club rules!

The rules you can’t screw if you want to be in this club.

1. Absolutely no screwing the rules of this club…unless you have money.

2. While participation in all contests is not required, it is mandatory that you at least participate in at least one contest per year. I mean, come on, there’s 365 days in a year, it’s not that (EFF!)ing difficult to participate in one contest per year. Not, if your scanner or computer goes down and you have to send me message saying so, I’ll understand and not kick you out…but only if you have a good excuse like that.

3. No matter what he says, if Mokuba ever speaks to you, your first response should always be "Shut up Mokuba".

4. Remember, only grown-ups are allowed to play children’s card games, so you can’t join unless you are 13 or older. I mean, the series itself does make some mature jokes every now and then.

5. If you’re an American, you should end one out of every five sentence posted in this club with the phrase “In America!” or some variation thereof referring to the greatest country on earth: America! (Also referring to stereotypical American food, products, and entertainment is also expectable; just don’t get too carried away and sound racist).

6. If you want to submit a piece for the club gallery, it must be in color and at least as good as the pictures in our club gallery. If you absolutely do not have a coloring program, I will accept pencil drawings so long as it's well-done and it has an attempt at an background; nothing too difficult, just some simple cel-shading, it's quite easy to do with a pencil. I mean, this is the official club gallery; we want to show off the most super special awesome pieces. I will, however, fave almost any artwork related to the series so long as it’s reasonably good. First upload the original picture to your own account. Then send an email off of my personal account (not the club account) and include a link to your copy of the picture; that way I can link up your copy in the club copy and copy and paste your original comments in addition to my own. Alternately, you can PM me (either my personal account or the club account) for my gmail address or if you’re really in trouble, PM the club account and attach the image/links there. (for reasons I rather not discuss, I prefer you use this method as a last resort).

7. You should totally pick the feature of your body or personality that is most noticeable when people first met you and refer to it one out of every five sentences posted in this club; my accent tells me this is a good idea.

8. All submissions MUST have at least one quote or reference to the abridged series in them or at least have the characters doing something probable that fits their abridged personalities. This is a fan club for the abridged series, not the official show/manga/whatever. There are plenty of clubs for that.

9. Referring to yourself in third person automatically makes you a bad guy.

10. In order to join, you must have at least one piece related to YGO:TAS in your gallery. If you don’t have one, make one.

11. Mokuba Kiba gets to decided who lives and who dies, so don’t piss him off. You can still tell him to shut up or kidnap him, though; he’s used to that. "It feels like I'm dying inside!" Shut up, Mokuba.

12. By being a member, you agree to make at least one new piece related to YGO:TAS once per year. This can include contest submissions but it would be nice if you could make more…

13. Try not to piss off the Evil Teddy Bear.

14. Some contests will have specific rules, so don’t screw them unless you have money.

15. Always wear a condom before playing card games. That apply to you girls too…that’s right, they make them for women too; I learn that fact from an absolutely fabulous episode of Seinfeld!

16. Absolutely no yaoi, yuri, or hentai. Not even the abridged series have done that yet. Besides, that stuff is just…just…tacky! Seeing that makes me feel very un-fabulous!

17. Don’t be so gauche! And remember, friendship is the greatest thing ever; it’s even more powerful than Chuck Norris!

18. If you're going to join, please watch the club, overwise you might miss out on our fabulous notices and contests!
